Pies are a wondermint. You take fruit add sugar and bake. You can fancy em up with Cinnamon or lemon zest – but they are really hard to screw up.

When I had about 10 home grow strawberries(grown in urns in front of our house. they come back yearly and are low low maintenance), I decided to make a mixed berry pie . I had to add in some store-bought strawberries as well.
